- Nestled in the lush, green hills of Tennessee lies a quaint little cottage hidden in the woods. There, fragrant, herbal soaps bloom on vines beneath a green pergola where they are hand-picked every day, tossed into bushel baskets and carried to the cottage for cutting. Everyone man and woman charmed enough to get their hands on a bar have claimed it to be the best soap in the world. Our company name is actually Green Pergola but more than one customer has proclaimed us to be the Best Soap in the World. So, we run our soap business from two websites: both Green Pergola and Best Soap in the World. If we aren't making handmade soap, we're talking about handmade soap. Making natural soap is what we do six days a week. Every day, fragrant batches of soap are poured into molds while other soaps are being un-molded. Our handmade soaps are constantly being cut into bars, wrapped and shipped out to customers from coast to coast. Our retail store is location in Donelson, a suburn of Nashville, TN. Inside the building is also a tea bar, a yoga studio and a massage therapist.
